About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Specialist to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is prioritized.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £26,937.00 per annum (pro rata), plus benefits including 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) and flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care setting, with a focus on customer-focused care delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, as required by the rota.
  • Awareness of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
