Anatomical Pathology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anatomical Pathology Technologist to join our friendly mortuary team at Camden Council.
About the RoleThis varied role involves managing all aspects of mortuary operations, including admission, identification, and storage of deceased bodies. You will also assist pathologists with forensic cases, collaborate with emergency services, and facilitate viewings and identifications with the Coroner's Office.

- Facilitate viewings and identifications with the Coroner's Office
- Have a good understanding of health and safety legislation and working in compliance with SOP and HTA guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technician or equivalent APT qualification
- Demonstrable experience of working in a mortuary setting
- Good technical knowledge of mortuary policy, procedure, and human anatomy
- Experience in high-risk and forensic post-mortems would be welcomed
