Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Credit Control Specialist to manage complex ledgers, ensure timely collection of overdue payments, and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and take ownership of a complex ledger, ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments.
- Chase overdue payments through structured and methodical approaches, utilizing phone, email, and mail.
- Maintain up-to-date customer information in CRM systems, fostering strong relationships and resolving customer issues.
- Achieve overdue recovery targets through proactive management of customer accounts, minimizing outstanding balances.
- Identify and resolve barriers to payment, partnering with sales teams, leasing partners, and other internal departments.
- Manage stopped accounts, escalating to litigation when necessary, and reconcile complex accounts with accuracy.
- Keep CRM and credit files consistently updated, identifying areas for continuous process improvement.
Person/Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in credit control, with strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, able to work in a dynamic environment.
