Credit Controller

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our expanding team at Kennedy Pearce Consulting. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for owning and performing collections activity, minimizing debtor balances and exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily credit control activities via telephone, letter, and email, maintaining accurate activity records.
- Oversee external debt collection agencies and manage litigation cases as required.
- Process daily direct debit collections and cash allocation.
- Handle customer queries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain collection processes and procedures, ensuring FCA compliance.
- Assist in internal and external audits as needed.
- Collaborate with the Finance team and other departments to achieve key deliverables.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in credit control, preferably in a business-to-business environment.
- Minimum GCSE English and Maths grades B or above.
- Strong systems skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Conscientious and accurate, with a 'can do' attitude.
- Previous experience in a high-volume environment.
Salary: £34,000 per annum + Hybrid working
