Job Title: Special Needs Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education Assistant to join our team at a large SEN school in Barking, East London.

About the Role:
  • Support students with special needs, including those with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
  • Manage behaviors using positive strategies and work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure every child progresses in their individualized learning plans.
  • Supervise students on breaks, transitions, and school trips, and maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assist with personal care duties, such as feeding and changing, when required.

Requirements:
