Position: Full-time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Role Overview: We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to become a vital part of our dynamic and inclusive educational environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our skilled teaching team to provide essential support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with educators to execute Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored for students with special needs.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to students during classroom activities and learning exercises.
  • Help in developing and modifying educational materials to meet the unique learning requirements of each student.
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student is recognized and supported.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) regarding student development and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children who have special educational needs is preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support or education.
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive attitude towards assisting students with varying needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational setting for all learners.
