Groundworks Quantity Surveyor

My client, a leading groundworks and civils company, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of groundworks projects, ensuring that all work is completed within budget and to the highest standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the North West of England, including new build McDonald's drive-thrus, residential, and industrial developments. You will be responsible for:

1. Preparing accurate cost estimates for groundworks projects.
2. Administering contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
3. Identifying potential risks related to cost and schedule, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in groundworks and civils projects.
2. In-depth knowledge of groundworks processes and best practices, including relevant regulations and standards.
3. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and project management.
4. Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
