As a Public Health Specialist at Essex County Council, you will play a crucial role in developing a clear vision and priorities for improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Essex. You will bring a proven track record of successfully delivering outcomes, the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, and inspire and gain the confidence and participation of a wide range of stakeholders. You will also have knowledge and experience of all aspects of the commissioning cycle, project life cycle, and related activities gained within a commissioning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear vision and priorities for improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Essex

Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level and/or appropriate professional qualification relevant to the field or equivalent by experience
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering outcomes
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately and inspire and gain the confidence and participation of a wide range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience of all aspects of the commissioning cycle, project life cycle, and related activities gained within a commissioning environment
