Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join our client's REAL Alliance Project team. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful setup and running of projects in compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and management of projects on the company accounting system with a suitable Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Inputting budget & tender data from successful tenders into the Company accounting/Reporting System.
  • Preparation of monthly project reports for internal and client purposes.
  • Preparation of monthly Applications and Invoicing to ensure submission of accurate documents.
  • Notifying clients of any increased project value or delay to project completion.
  • Meeting clients and commercial representatives monthly to discuss certificates and agreement on levels of substantiation required.
  • Collection of cash and pursuit of certificates from clients in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
  • Demonstrable legal, contractual and construction knowledge and experience.
  • Proven experience in a commercial environment, preferably within a Rail/Construction related industry.
  • A creative, strategic and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge in Microsoft office applications.
