Bid Writer Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our team at Selwood Limited, a leading pump rental solutions company in the UK. As a key member of our tender management team, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality tender submissions that drive business growth.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of successful bid writing, ideally in the plant hire, construction, civil engineering, water or engineering industries. You will be highly organised, with good planning and prioritising skills, and the ability to deliver quality work to meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Tender Manager in producing high-quality tender submissions to achieve business growth in alignment with corporate strategies.
• Liaise with nominated subject matter experts internally and analyse data externally during tender phases to gather information relevant to each submission.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of successful bid writing, ideally in the plant hire, construction, civil engineering, water or engineering industries.
• Highly organised, with good planning and prioritising skills and the ability to deliver quality work to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
• Proficient in the use of AI software such as Copilot, ChatGPT.
• A current Full UK driving license is preferred for this role.
