Engineering Training Specialist

We value diversity and inclusivity, with employees from 39 different languages. Our four manufacturing facilities produce over 326 million units per year. As we expand our production lines, we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Engineering Training Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and deliver effective engineering training across all engineering functions.
- Work closely with engineering managers to ensure engineers complete basic training, including health and safety and other legal training.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including creating new content and updating existing materials.
- Plan and deliver training activities across all sites.
- Manage the delivery of training to new starters within the welcome period.
- Assess and sign off engineers against training materials once competent.
- Keep training records up to date and compliant with audit standards.
- Manage apprentices through the apprenticeship program, including academic, practical, and welfare aspects.
- Obtain feedback from training delivered and measure the scope of content and effectiveness of delivery.
- Liaise with the maintenance planner to ensure the winter maintenance plan is prepared.
- Work with site engineering leads to ensure all planned preventive maintenance and asset care activities are completed to required standards.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of maintenance systems.
- Good team player with a collaborative approach.
- Recognized electrical qualification (multi-skilled is advantageous).
- Training delivery experience.
- Ability to communicate engineering matters across all departments.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational and prioritization skills.
- Intermediate IT skills, including data manipulation.
