Internal Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Romsey/Witham. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our client's products and services to customers within an assigned geographic area or customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate prices and secure orders at the best commercial rates using our Power Pricing system.
- Analyse customer requirements and refer to the relevant team member if outside your area of responsibility.
- Input customer enquiries into our Power Pricing tool and use the guidelines to make decisions on what to quote the customer.
- Calculate prices for products that fall outside the range of power pricing and quote the customer accordingly.
- Promote additional products and added value services to customers.
- Assess customer needs and research the project for appropriate product suggestions.
- Identify and contact prospective and current customers to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Use internal and external resources to identify potential customers and make contact with them.
- Establish the needs of the customer and coordinate visits to sites if the volume is appropriate.
- Engage with stakeholders to refer sales leads and provide customer feedback and information on customer and competitor activity.
- Manage quotes within our Power Pricing system and review the status of quoted projects.
- Identify open quotes and contact customers to enquire about their current requirements.
- Update our Power Pricing system with the current status of customer enquiries and ensure all lost quotes are captured in the appropriate system.
- Manage the delivery of secured orders and coordinate with Production and Transport to deliver order requirements.
- Obtain rebar and delivery schedules and oversee the customer delivery schedule through our scheduling system.
- Liaise with production to ensure delivery commitments to our customers are met and resolve problems and customer complaints.
- Experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in the building/construction/manufacturing/engineering sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills, with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Competitive salary of up to £30,000 plus bonus.
- Full-time position with Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm working hours.
- 22 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays (totaling 30 days).
