We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team. As a Senior Enterprise Account Manager, you'll be responsible for converting prospects into sales by differentiating Proofpoint's solutions from the competition and working with channel partners to build and grow a joint business.

You'll interact with small and medium-sized enterprises up to CISO level, as well as technical staff within the security and IT organization. You'll work closely with our Sales Engineer team, partners, and leverage corporate resources within your account base.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a results-oriented individual with excellent business acumen. You'll have a proven ability to build business pipeline, accurately forecast, and close business with strong interpersonal and presentational skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Focusing on hunting and developing New Logo Accounts (cross-vertical) up to 2,500 users.
  • Increasing market share of Proofpoint products through outbound telephone prospecting to commercial accounts within an assigned region.
  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering web-based and onsite product demos.
  • Working with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans.
  • Partnering with the channel to drive incremental revenue.
  • Focusing on hunting and developing new Proofpoint accounts in the market.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Proven ability to build business pipeline, accurately forecast, and close business with strong interpersonal and presentational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly and effectively articulate Proofpoint's value.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented.
  • Ability to coordinate Proofpoint resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM tools) is a plus.
  • Successful inside sales experience in a related field.
  • Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is preferred.
  • Existing channel relationships and ideally have an understanding of a 2-tier channel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
  • Fluent German and English language skills required.
  • Any additional language skills are a plus.
