Job Summary

We are seeking a Homelessness Prevention Coordinator to join our team in Cowdenbeath. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in preventing homelessness and supporting individuals to maintain stable living situations.

As a Homelessness Prevention Coordinator, you will work closely with clients, community groups, and service providers to identify and address the root causes of homelessness. You will provide guidance on accessing essential services, develop and maintain relationships with local partners, and ensure seamless referrals and support.

You will have a strong understanding of the complex issues surrounding homelessness, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working in a community-based setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support services to individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness
  • Engage with clients, build trust, and provide guidance on accessing essential services
  • Collaborate with community groups and service providers to develop and maintain relationships
  • Ensure seamless referrals and support for clients
