About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Design Engineer to join our Water Division in Syracuse, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing process mechanical systems for wastewater treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop process mechanical systems for wastewater treatment projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other consultants to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, equipment data sheets, and other project documents.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Participate in quality review processes and ensure that all work products meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 15+ years of experience in wastewater treatment engineering design.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
