Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Facilities Management Category Team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies and plans for goods and services within the Facilities Management category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and plans for goods and services within the Facilities Management category.
- Support the Senior Procurement Manager and the Procurement Manager in the account management of internal customers in the business areas serviced by the category.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategy for the goods and services category in order to meet internal customers' needs, provide savings, and manage risk.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the procurement team to make most effective use of the resources available across the procurement functions and ensure the maintenance of accurate and complete electronic records.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Background in a supply chain related area (preferably in the FM Category).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Capable of building sourcing strategies and gaining buy-in to their implementation.
- Experience of program & change management.
- Experience in creating innovative solutions relating to supplier spend.
- Good communication skills with demonstrable ability to engage confidently with business customers and suppliers.
- Studying towards the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or willing to.
