To support this mission, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Integrity Manager to join our payroll operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our payroll processing.

About You:

  • You have a proven track record of working in payroll management, with a strong understanding of data integrity and accuracy.
  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve discrepancies and simplify complex payroll concepts.
  • You have a solid understanding of Excel and can apply advanced formulas and functions to support reporting and payroll accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Integrity and Accuracy: Ensure that payroll data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, with minimal errors or discrepancies.
  2. Collaborative Operations: Work closely with the Payroll Manager and Registrations Team, fostering efficient processes and streamlined communication to support smooth payroll cycles.
  3. Organised Task Management: Prioritise your tasks effectively, manage a busy inbox with ease, and stay on top of payroll-related activities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Client and Employee Support: Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for payroll inquiries, addressing questions directly or escalating to relevant team members as needed.
  5. Problem Solving and Clarity: Resolve any payroll discrepancies and simplify complex payroll concepts for employees and clients, ensuring everyone understands the process and their entitlements.
  6. Advanced Excel Use: Apply strong Excel skills for data management and in-depth analysis, using tools like pivot tables, formulas, and other functions to support reporting and payroll accuracy.
  7. Complete Payroll Process Management: Handle the end-to-end payroll process, from generating trials and journals to creating BACS payment schedules, processing weekly payrolls, handling additional payments, reviewing client billable expenses, and balancing all figures.

Requirements:

  • Previous payroll experience is essential, with a solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with umbrella companies is a plus, but not required.
  • Access to your own transport is essential due to the office location.

Estimated Salary:£38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
