Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Neuro-Medical Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery.
Main Duties
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a safe, productive, and efficient recovery team. You will have the ability to support, teach, and develop junior staff, and facilitate the delivery of high standards of patient care in the operating theatres. Your role will also require safe patient care within the outlying anaesthetic service areas of the hospital.
Requirements
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively with the multidisciplinary team, matrons, and floor coordinators. You must have an ODP qualification or be an RN1 with a proven record within these specialties. A mentorship or SSSA course is desirable. Prioritisation will be given to support you through a mentoring course in your first year of this role.
