Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Neuro-Medical Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of junior staff in the operating theatres.
Main Duties
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing safe and efficient patient care in the operating theatres
- Leading a team of junior staff and facilitating the delivery of high standards of patient care
- Supporting, teaching, and developing junior staff
- Participating in post-operative care of patients who have undergone orthopaedic surgery
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- ODP qualification or RN1 with a proven record in these specialties
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and steady under pressure
- Reassuring manner and understanding of patient rights, privacy, and dignity
