Band 6 Neuro-Medical Rotational Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Neuro-Medical Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery.
Main Duties- Lead a safe, productive, and efficient recovery team, supporting and developing junior staff to deliver high standards of patient care.
- Participate in the post-operative care of patients who have undergone orthopaedic surgery, prioritizing their needs and providing empathetic support.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, matrons, and floor coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Remain calm and steady under pressure, providing reassurance to patients and their families.
- ODP qualification or RN1 with a proven record in orthopaedic surgery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior staff.
- Experience in a recovery or anaesthetic setting, with a strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols.
