Join Veritas Education Recruitment as we seek a highly motivated and experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our client's team in Lupset, Wakefield.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate practitioner to make a real difference in the lives of young children. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with children and their families, conducting regular observations, and creating tailored plans that encourage children to explore and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Conduct regular observations of children's progress, using findings to plan engaging activities.
  • Use expertise in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to create and implement learning plans.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment, encouraging each child to learn and grow.
  • Work closely with colleagues, sharing best practices and contributing to team meetings.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable experience working in a key person role, building relationships with children and their families.
  • Strong skills in carrying out accurate observations, tracking progress, and creating tailored plans.
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and how to implement it effectively.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and opportunities for professional development and training.
