About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Early Years Manager to join our team at St George's Lupset Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality nursery provision for young children and their families in accordance with current guidance and legislation.

You will lead and implement a system of planning suited to the developmental needs of young children, work closely with parents and carers to ensure their needs are met, and support the development of staff through mentoring and coaching.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a childcare setting, hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification, and demonstrate excellent leadership and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality nursery provision for young children on a day-to-day basis
  • Implement a system of planning suited to the developmental needs of young children
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure their needs are met
  • Mentor and coach staff to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Support the development of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children

Person Specification:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (desired but not essential)
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within a childcare setting
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with parents and carers
  • Ability to mentor and coach staff
