KS2 Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, primarily working within KS2 (Years 4 & 5). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting children with mixed abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide classroom support to students in Year 4 and Year 5
- Assist the class teacher in preparing lesson materials and activities
- Support students with varying abilities, helping them to engage in their learning
- Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive classroom environment
- Work with small groups and 1:1 to offer targeted support where necessary
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all children
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a classroom setting (KS2 experience preferred but not essential), strong behaviour management skills, a positive, proactive, and patient approach to working with children, and the ability to support pupils of mixed abilities and differentiate support as needed.
