Your Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our Primrose House team in Hull. In this critical role, you will provide direct care and support to our residents, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, promoting trust and confidence.
  • Contribute to the creation of personalized care plans, tailored to each resident's needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and support.
  • Identify and escalate any concerns or issues affecting resident care or safety.

Requirements

  • Care Certificate qualification or equivalent.
  • NVQ in Health and Social Care (or similar) preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working with older people and understanding of assessment tools and care planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

  • A competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A permanent contract of employment with a rolling rota of three shifts on, three shifts off.
