Job Summary

We are looking for a confident and compassionate leader with strong leadership and organisational skills, who can effectively manage a team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of registered veterinary nurses, ensuring effective workflow and high standards of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and participate in ongoing training and education.
  • Collaborate with other senior staff members to ensure seamless day-to-day operation of the practice.
  • Support the development of administrative systems and processes, including rostering and stock management.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in veterinary nursing or a related field.
  • Several years of experience as a registered veterinary nurse, including leadership or senior nurse roles.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with effective team management and delegation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £32,000 per annum, based on skills and experience. You will also receive a contributory pension scheme, generous CPD allowance, and funding towards certificates.
