About the Role

Curtis Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing proactive and reactive support to meet their accounting needs
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and VAT returns
  • Provide tax advisory services, including corporation tax, income tax, and VAT
  • Manage corporate clients and individuals, providing a high level of service and expertise
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice environment is essential
  • ACA, ACCA, AAT qualification or equivalent is required
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, corporation tax, income tax, and VAT
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accountancy software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
