Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company\u2019s technical capabilities by assisting the wider team with technical queries, thereby contributing to long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
\u2022 Facilitate seamless communication with clients to gather essential information and address queries promptly.
\u2022 Prepare financial statements for medium-sized companies, consolidated financial statements, and LLPs using the firm\u2019s designated software applications, with minimal review points.
\u2022 Create business tax computations, including adjustments for enhanced expenditure and loans to participators.
\u2022 Support junior team members in completing assignments forming part of the consolidated financial statements.
\u2022 Adhere to predetermined timelines agreed upon by the audit team, maintaining regular communication to ensure internal and external deliverables are met.
Requirements:
\u2022 Prior experience in a similar role within a practice environment.
\u2022 Qualified as CA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent (first-time passes preferred).
\u2022 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
\u2022 Proficiency in MS Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook.
\u2022 Sound technical knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards.
\u2022 Up-to-date awareness of changes in basic tax legislation.
\u2022 Proficient understanding of accounting standards and business tax compliance.
\u2022 Passion for learning new skills and assisting less experienced team members.
\u2022 Proactive \u2018can-do\u2019 attitude with keen attention to detail.
\u2022 Dedication to continuous learning and development.

\u2022 Salary Circa £40,000 - £47,500 depending on experience and qualification status.
