About the Role

Oxford University's Gardens, Libraries, and Museums (GLAM) is seeking a skilled Communications Officer to support internal and external communications across the Division. As a key member of the Marketing & Communications team, you will play a vital role in promoting the work of GLAM and our institutions to both internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deliver day-to-day communication activities within the GLAM Division, including producing newsletters and coordinating briefing events.
  • Develop and implement effective internal communications strategies to engage staff and promote the work of the Division.
  • Support external communications, including developing content for the GLAM website and commissioning new photography.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the Gardens, Libraries and Museums and the wider University.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Communications professional with a strong background in content production, internal communications, digital communications, and events management. You will have excellent writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a complex environment and with a diverse range of stakeholders.
