The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is a grassroots movement working towards nature's recovery. As an Education and Conservation Specialist, you will assist the Engagement Officer in supporting and leading the education and engagement offer onsite.
This role involves:
- Leading environmental activities with various groups, including preschool, A level, youth groups, adult special interest groups, and the public.
- Supporting education settings to develop their own spaces for nature through our Wilder Schools programme.
- Gaining skills in leading groups, managing facilities, working with the public, creating and running events, first aid and water safety training, and supervising volunteers.
We offer a competitive salary of £21,840 pro rata gross per annum, generous annual leave allowance, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, learning and development support, and discounted staff travel with our corporate partners.
Please note that this is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract, part-time, 28 hours per week.
