About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Spinney, a specialist service for adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, including personal care and household chores.
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Requirements
  • Reliable, friendly, and caring approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in supporting individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
