Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the development and leadership of the rehabilitation beds on the stroke rehabilitation unit, including admission, discharge, and patient care. They will work closely with the Consultant Physiotherapist to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive rehabilitation program for patients with stroke
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with external partners to optimize transitions of care and ensure seamless patient flow
- Ensure the delivery of stroke rehabilitation services that meet the highest standards of quality and safety
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant Allied Health Professional/Nurse to join our team and make a significant contribution to the delivery of high-quality stroke rehabilitation services. The successful candidate will be passionate about the holistic, multidisciplinary care and rehabilitation of patients who have experienced a stroke.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in leading a multidisciplinary team and developing and implementing rehabilitation programs
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of stroke rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with external partners and stakeholders
