Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned.NET developer to lead our backend software development efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with.NET and C# development, particularly in building robust backend systems and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop backend services and APIs using.NET and C#.
  • Lead the integration of backend systems with external services and applications via APIs.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of all backend functions.
  • Implement secure data handling, validation, and transmission practices.
  • Work closely with front-end developers and other team members to meet system requirements.
  • Spearhead the adoption and implementation of HL7 and FHIR standards within the company's ecosystem.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Optimize existing systems for scalability and speed.
  • Manage database design and querying with an emphasis on performance and security.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure robust and error-free deployment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Previous professional experience in backend software development with expertise in.NET and C#.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing APIs.
  • Strong understanding of the.NET ecosystem, OOP principles, and multi-threading.
  • Experience with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare industry data exchange standards is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and performing complex queries.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of additional backend technologies and frameworks.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Experience in a lead or senior developer role managing or guiding a team.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
