We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our Commercial Team in Southampton. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for providing exceptional account servicing support to our clients, working closely with experienced Account Executives and Directors to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of a portfolio of cross-class commercial clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, including policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of customer details, maintaining data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process policies, chase outstanding documentation, and confirm cover with insurers, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Deal with account queries, credit control matters, and provide excellent customer service, highlighting any concerns or issues.
- Apply fundamental legal and regulatory policies, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and insurance contracts.
- Maintain accurate records and process in accordance with agreed procedures, ensuring timely renewals and positive outcomes for clients.
- Commercial insurance knowledge is essential, with a strong understanding of risk management principles.
- Holding or working towards a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification is desirable, as is a GCSE standard or equivalent education.
- Experience in a regulated, measurable framework, achieving SLAs and targets, is essential.
- Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide outstanding customer service.
- Due diligence and process-driven, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Fully proficient in Acturis and eligible to work in the UK.
