Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Office Manager to lead a team of Sales Administrators at our client's site in Preston. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar management role, preferably within the manufacturing or textiles industry.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Sales Administrators, providing training, recruiting new team members, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Oversee the processing of sales orders via phone and email, generating quotes, and utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for tasks such as updating the website.
  • BUILD STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS by effectively managing customer interactions and implementing strategic planning to monitor market trends and competitor activity.


Working Conditions and Salary

This is a permanent role with a competitive salary range of £28,000-£33,000 per annum, depending on experience. Weekend overtime working may be required for events. Additional benefits include additional holidays, health insurance, and other perks.



Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar management role.
  • Manufacturing or textiles industry background preferred.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, SAGE, and e-commerce platforms, preferably Magento 2.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach and leadership/managerial experience/ability.
