Job Title: Business Development Manager

Speedel is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving sales and marketing activities to achieve business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to penetrate new markets and sectors.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Manage and develop our sales and marketing activities, including calls, campaigns, customer visits, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to leverage their outstanding customer experience and develop their selling skills.
Main Activities:
  • Shaping and leading the marketing strategy through research, industry trends, planning, and implementing digital campaigns, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending conferences, workshops, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
  • Preparing proposals and quotations for new clients, making face-to-face sales presentations, and sales calls to secure new accounts.
  • Managing the on-boarding of new clients and ensuring the operations team is fully aligned to deliver and service any special, new, or additional requirements.
  • Periodic follow-up with existing clients to maintain strong working relationships and gain feedback on competitors, industry trends, and opportunities for service and system improvements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales.
  • Results-oriented and an excellent track record in B2B sales.
  • Potential to use and introduce multiple sales tools simultaneously to complete sales transactions.
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of our service offering.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and highly organized, capable of working under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong drive to generate sales.
