We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and managing our cyber security strategy, particularly in our Microsoft-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Security Infrastructure: Primary liaison with the external Security Operations Center (SOC) and ensure compliance with external standards and regulations.
  • Oversee Microsoft Defender 365 and Intune: Safeguard our digital environment by implementing and managing these security solutions.
  • Implement Security Recommendations: Follow through on recommendations from external security audits to ensure our security posture is robust.
  • Develop Security Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive security roadmap to ensure our security strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Plan and Manage Security Strategies: Develop and implement security strategies to ensure the highest level of security for our organization.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials (CE), and Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+): Ensure compliance with these industry-recognized security standards.
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Ecosystem: Knowledge of licensing requirements, Identity Access Management, User Risk Policies, Conditional Access Policies, App Registrations, and Intune.
  • Practical Experience in Security Management: Manage firewalls, VPNs, DNSs, Microsoft Defender, and Networks.
