Iceberg Cyber Security is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our defence sector team, you will be responsible for maintaining system security, troubleshooting Linux systems, and managing Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Configure and manage Symantec DLP solutions to prevent data breaches and ensure compliance.
  • Configure and monitor firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco) to maintain network security.
  • Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system integration and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Strong Linux troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with Symantec DLP to configure and manage solutions effectively.
  • Knowledge of firewall configuration to maintain network security.
  • British citizenship required due to defence sector compliance and security clearance requirements.
