Headway Adolescent Resources is a reputable provider of residential adolescent care, committed to delivering holistic support to young people. We are seeking a dedicated Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis.

This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing care and support to young people with challenging behaviour. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care and support to young people
  • Working collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and supportive environment
  • Developing and implementing care plans to meet the needs of young people
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with challenging young people, preferably in a residential setting
  • Qualifications in Children and Young People, such as QCF level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer skills to an intermediate level
  • Full manual driving license
