Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join our Specsavers Home Visits team. As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, you'll provide high-quality eye care services to patients in their homes and care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional eye care services, including examinations, fittings, and dispensing of eyewear.
  • Work closely with Optometrists to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold optical experience, a full UK driving license, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations, prioritizing patient care and safety.
