Health and Safety Manager

VIVO Defence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our SHEF function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operational managers to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents and near misses.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and VIVO Zero Harm initiatives.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
- Proven experience in health and safety management in a construction or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
