Job Title: Compliance and Quality Systems Co-ordinator

Company Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Compliance and Quality Systems Co-ordinator. This role will play a key part in ensuring that our organisation meets the required industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FDA, BRC, FSC, and ISCC MASS BALANCE.

Job Description: The Compliance and Quality Systems Co-ordinator will be responsible for monitoring and auditing the quality, hygiene, food safety, and microbiological aspects of manufacturing to ensure compliance with legal, third-party, and customer standards. They will assist the Compliance & Quality Systems Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance is achieved and provide leadership and direction on quality and compliance standards across the organisation.

The successful candidate will develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and business needs. They will monitor and advise on the performance of the Quality Management System, produce data, and report regularly on performance. Additionally, they will promote a culture of compliance to food safety and quality standards by coaching and training employees at all levels across the site.

The Compliance and Quality Systems Co-ordinator will also regulate, control, and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business. They will manage the audit program to ensure nonconformities raised from certification bodies, customers, or against suppliers during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 1 year's experience in a Quality Assurance function with a demonstrable understanding of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems, such as BRC or ISO 9001. Alternatively, a minimum of 2 years' experience either in Thermoforming/Offset Printing or Injection Moulding Operations with a good understanding of Quality Assurance in these functions is required.
