Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team at NOV FGS Plymouth. As a key member of our Factory Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering quality products on time and ensuring compliance with our Business Management System (BMS) controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Productivity: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time, within the production schedule.
  • BMS Compliance: Ensure that all BMS controls are adhered to throughout the factory, achieving and exceeding quality, environmental, health and safety requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Record and report on any non-conformities and misdemeanors.
  • Safety and Environment: Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with BMS policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Lead allocated teams in the delivery of works and drive works through the factory.
  • Quality Standards: Maintain the standards of workmanship and ensure that all materials and associated paperwork are properly managed.
  • Reporting: Provide daily reports on progress and ensure that all Environmental and waste management controls are followed by your team.
  • Incident Reporting: Identify and report any SHE incidents or issues causing non-value added effort from the team.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: An exceptional ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information.
  • Judgment and Decision Making: Adept at exercising good judgment while being constrained by tight deadlines.
  • Time Management: Able to apportion time effectively to complete tasks.
  • Communication: Willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and eliminate roadblocks.
