Job Title: Fundraising Events Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Fundraising Events Coordinator to join our Community & Events Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating fundraising events, working closely with the team to maximise opportunities and achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising event strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute charity events, such as the One Million Steps Challenge and Swim 22
  • Build and maintain relationships with supporters and stakeholders to secure event sponsorships and donations
  • Monitor and report on event performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

What You Will Need:

  • Proven experience in fundraising events or a related field
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for Diabetes UK's mission and values
