About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Events Manager to join our Fundraising and Partnerships Team at the Science Museum Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a series of cultivation and stewardship events that attract, engage, and retain high-value supporters across all of our museums.

You will work closely with the Head of Supporter Engagement to ensure the planning and delivery of all events are seamless and support the goals of the Fundraising and Partnerships team. This will involve building strong relationships with external suppliers and contractors to ensure value for money and high standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience of planning and delivering large-scale events in a venue, ideally in a high-value fundraising context or hospitality, corporate, and other industries. You will possess advanced organisational, time management, and project management skills, as well as experience of managing budgets and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

You will be an effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will have the ability to embrace imaginative and innovative solutions, as well as the creativity required to plan and deliver engaging events.
