Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our residential care staff, you will provide care, guidance, and support to young people with mild learning difficulties, past trauma, or emotional and behavioural challenges.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people in a residential setting.
  • Ensure the welfare and well-being of each child while providing guidance and support to all residential care staff.
  • Create a positive and structured environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to ensure the highest standard of care and safety.

What We're Looking For

  • Commitment: Ability to work 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
  • Driver's License: A full UK manual driver's license is required.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce and at least 2 years of experience within residential childcare.
