Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Branch Support Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional security services at our client sites in Sheffield and York.
Key Responsibilities- Prevent unauthorized access and monitor alarms to ensure the safety and security of employees, property, and assets.
- Conduct regular security patrols and provide traffic control to maintain a secure environment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, issue visitor passes, and manage lost property to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to staff, visitors, and contractors, embodying our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
- Identify and report potential risks of theft, damage, and vandalism, and take proactive measures to prevent incidents.
- Operate security equipment, conduct 'stop and search' procedures, and investigate incidents and suspicious activities.
- Work collaboratively with the security team to maintain a high level of customer service and ensure the highest standards of security are met.
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Over 18 years old
- Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable employment history
- No current criminal convictions
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctuality and reliability
- Flexibility to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Sensitivity towards and understanding of the requirements of people with disabilities or special needs
