Job Title:

Commercial Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Controller to join our dynamic Rental Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing contracts from end to end and ensuring the commercial integrity of our rental contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of rental contracts, ensuring compliance and effective management of financial aspects across approximately 60 projects.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and issue regular account development reviews, project reports, and applications for payment, ensuring timely final accounts reconciliation.
  • Client Liaison: Collaborate with managers and clients to review project progress, resolve issues, and conduct site visits as necessary.
  • Project Management: Update project management systems with revenue and costs, manage the application and certification process, and approve subcontractor works orders for payment.
  • Review and Analysis: Conduct pricing document reviews, contract reviews (including JCT and NEC), and cash flow analysis to support decision-making.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE Maths and English Level 4 (C) or above;
  • Commercial experience with industry knowledge and/or Quantity Surveyor (QS) experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) at an intermediate/advanced level;
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and a solid understanding of drawings and building design.
The Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive:
