Senior Construction Manager

Crest Nicholson plc, a leading developer of quality homes and thriving communities, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to join its South Division team in Addlestone.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical knowledge from a Technical Design background in architectural or civil engineering to take on a challenging role that involves acquiring land, planning, designing, constructing, and selling dwellings in accordance with the company's operating policies and controls.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Land Department in site investigation and acquisition, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Lead detailed technical investigations, designs, and optimizations, as well as liaise with statutory authorities to produce necessary documentation and drawings.
- Prepare constructional drawings, negotiate approvals, and achieve optimal timing programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Identify and resolve technical design and constructional problems, applying expertise to deliver high-quality results.
- Supervise and administer the Company's Technical function, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Maintain relationships with Local Authorities, NHBC, and service utility officers, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
- Assist in general public relations and promotion of the company's good name, contributing to the development of a positive corporate image.
- Participate in Company technical design matters, including standard drawing production, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Represent the company at meetings discussing technical issues, providing informed insights and recommendations.
- Hold a degree in a construction-related field (HNC/HND level) and have strong technical knowledge from a Technical Design background in architectural or civil engineering.
- Possess experience with mix-use/commercial schemes, concrete, steel, and traditional masonry build, and be familiar with industry-standard software and tools.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
