Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Receptionist / Care Coordinator to join our team at Colne Medical Centre. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth operation of our medical centre.

Main Responsibilities

  • Booking appointments and managing patient schedules
  • Greeting patients and providing a warm welcome
  • Answering queries from patients and outside agencies, and signposting to appropriate staff members
  • Updating patient records and maintaining accurate administrative systems
  • Processing correspondence and managing incoming mail
  • Liaising with patients using various communication methods

We are looking for a candidate with:

A good standard of education, including Maths and EnglishExperience of working in a customer-facing role and providing excellent customer servicePrevious reception experience and a strong understanding of administrative systemsStrong IT skills and the ability to use computer-based systemsExcellent communication skills, both written and oral
