Pressure Conformity Specialist

Bureau Veritas Group is a leading provider of testing, inspection, and certification services. We are seeking an experienced Pressure Conformity Inspector to join our Energy and Engineering team.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity includes providing technical expertise in pressure conformity for various industries, including nuclear, oil & gas, and renewables. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in repairing, maintaining, or inspecting pressure equipment.
Responsibilities:- Providing inspection and verification of pressure equipment products and permanent joining within authorized scope of QnS Codification assigned inspection codes and UK regulation requirements (PESR, Permanent Joining)
- Verification and certification of permanent joining procedures and joining personnel
- Maintenance of informed knowledge of developments in standards and legislation affecting all welding activity
- Quality assessment, documentation review activities on contracts undertaken by the BU and BV Group
- Maintenance of BV Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest at all levels of inspection
- Inspection reports, records, and PESR certificates as appropriate
- Client contracts and relationships working with Verification Engineers
- Quality and accuracy of technical content of inspection reports/Certificates
